South Beach and back in 38 hrs

Yes, ladies and gents, I have been out of town this weekend. I know otherwise anyone in the town knows that I am still here becuz I constantly probe everyone about something to do. So one of my friends decided that he just needs to go see his girl and so friday night we went towards Boca Ranton, FL. The trip started out bad as I forgot my camera and I finally decided that going back for the camera will be worthed. I’ll let you decide if it was.

We were at Boca Ranton by 9am Saturday morning and we spent the day checking out the Riverfront in Fort Lauterdale, some mall where I gto some important business taken care off and finally the beach at well.. South Beach! Most of the pictures in the Galleria for this trip is from there :) It was fun. I really wish that we could stay back and party by the Riverfront Saturday night, but time was pressing. We both had work on Monday.

So we started back that night around midnight and was back in Atlanta by noon Sunday. Am I crazy or what? I did, however, sleep for 14 hours that night.

Fraked up sleep schedule

If I turned on the time for this post, you would go wtf, no really. It is almost 4 am and I’m still up. I am about to go to bed after this tho, I promise. You see what happened that I was getting so bored with just watching movies after work that I actually went out and got me a copy of Tomb Raider Lengend. I installed it tonight and I’m already 35% of the way thru! I just couldn’t stop! I love these kinda games. That explains why I enjoyed Prince of Persia (the new series) and Splinter Cell. Though Splinter Cell would be the least favourite one, no thanx to stupid stealth requirement.

You gotta admit though, the new model rocks!!

Anime weekend *gasp*

What happened this weekend is beyond me. First I saw all six episodes of Furi Kuri and then I went thru four that’s 4! volumes of Samurai Champloo. I gotta give props for Samurai Champloo, however. It is a pretty impressive sound track and story line. It captivated me.

I have to bitch at Netflix though. They sent me first 3 volumes of Angelic Layer this time but they were supposed to send me the last 3 volumes of Samurai Champloo. Bastards.

May doom be on you… 98/Me

Sounds like Microsoft is flushing out their Old Technology line that have been morphing from Windows 3. Following the footsteps of Windows 95, that lost life support last year, Windows 98, 98SE and Me[sic] will lose all official support from Micro$oft. Of course, this isn’t set in stone as we have seen M$ being forced to extend the deadline for 95. However, we all know it’s for the best. There have been big improvements that came from the New Technology line and it’s actually worth making the switch.

Tough from my experience, if you’re running a crawler than it’s just better to keep it running the legacy system unless you are interested in switching to Linux.

Just hit that mark. It’s great! Though, I think it is also time for me to sort out all the metal from those and retire them. I don’t listen to them anymore expect for a select few and I think they need to be permanently boxed up.

As the WREKage guys will put it, “yet another lost soul, show him the darkness, Bob”.
