Heh. Didn’t think so. Well, I know it’s been a while since I have been regular as a lot of stuff have been happening. Firstly my parents have come over to visit about a month ago, and now we are preparing to leave.

On the other hand, my pet project with a couple of friends have been taking off in full swing. Remember the few lines that popped in my head back in December? Well, thanks to my friends we have a full blown song out of it. And guess what? It is going into a mixed album that will get distributed all over Bangladesh! So we all got together this weekend and rented out a studio and got the whole thing recorded in publication quality.

You have no idea how psyched I am!

I talked with Ninas about it, and we were up for it but just never got around to it. Finally, I introduced the idea to PoLaPaIn.com, as they revolve around the music scene anyway. After a bit of trying to understand what a podcast actually is (it is a new concept after all), the issue just caught so much momentum that it just had to happen.

So I’m presenting you PoLaPaIn ScOoP – our all brand new podcast. Word of caution to my non-Bangla speaking readers, this podcast is in Bangla; after all it is about the Bangla music scene. I would lie to you if I say that it is one of a kind, which I thought it would be at first. In fact, there are two other Bangla podcasts available in the market today. BanglaTune, and Podcast Bangladesh. Kudos to them to taking such initiative.

On other news, Ninas and I are working on a few projects, so hopefully in a few weeks, we should have a couple more tracks out.

I mean it was actually productive and I didn’t fret over any girl. First friday night I didn’t go out and have fun. Instead I banged my head on the keyboard while Nero decided it will fuck up my Win x64. However, I did manage to get it fixed by 10 pm.

Saturday I was in most of the day as I was on call at work. I did plan on cleaning up while I do the wait, but it just never really happened. However, after all that work-wait-call stuff, I did go out shoot a few pool balls and had a hearty chat with one of my favourite couples :) Sunday, following the trend for rest of the weekend, was completely different from what I’m used to. To start off I wasn’t really lazy! I actually got up and cleaned up my place. I mean everything from laundry to dishes and scrubing to vacumming. Shocking, no?

If that wasn’t enough, I actually got together with a friend of mine and we made some progress on one of the projects we were planning. Behold “Desher Mati Tane Amai”. It’s not really original, so we can’t take all the credit. It is however a remix of the original done by Caffiene. Sorry for all the non-Bangla speaking folks. You won’t understand it, but you can check out the music :)
