What happened this weekend is beyond me. First I saw all six episodes of Furi Kuri and then I went thru four that’s 4! volumes of Samurai Champloo. I gotta give props for Samurai Champloo, however. It is a pretty impressive sound track and story line. It captivated me.
I have to bitch at Netflix though. They sent me first 3 volumes of Angelic Layer this time but they were supposed to send me the last 3 volumes of Samurai Champloo. Bastards.
It has begun! You’re one of us now! Resistance is futile! Muahahahaha!!!
But, yeah, Samurai Champloo is rather boss. And Furi Kuri is my all time favorite. So no arguments there.
By the by, I’ve burned Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles 1 – 26 onto a single digital video disc for you. If you would care to send me your postal address, I will get it to you ASAP. And the English dub is actually pretty good!
They both have fowesome soundtracks! I am still trying to catch up on some so called “classics” like Evangelion but I want to rewatch Furi Kuri.
When I watch Furi Kuri I do so with the English dub. Which says quite a lot, really. Who ever did it did it right. And they didn’t even need Hollywood actors…
Hey…I didn’t realize you were into Anime! Rob, Jake and I are going to anime boston on the 27th and 28th of May if you are at all interested. We got a hotel room that’s a little bit away, and thus cheaper and we still have room for an extra person. Apparently it is a pretty big one. I’ve never been so this year will be an interesting experience. Anyways, let me know what you think.
