Of cats and food

By now, I’m pretty sure that I’m feeding two cats – Sylvee and the cat from across the street whom I aptly named Big Cat. Just a few nights back, I got home and proceeded to go through my get-in-and-settle-down ritual, when I was greeted by Big Cat comfortably taking a nap on my desk. Well, it was a bit over 0º C (32º F) outside, but what I don’t understand is why not got back to his house.

At that point I realized that Big Cat doesn’t have a collar. I don’t think I have ever seen a collar on him. May be he just lives around here and doesn’t really have a home? Got to figure that out. Because if that is the case, then he needs to go in for some mandatory shots.

  1. He may have been abandoned — some people don’t care for their pets the way we do. Get him some shots and make sure he’s been neutered, if he’s going to be hanging around with Sylvee all the time.
