Someone up there really hates me
Here I was going to write about how I saved tons of money doing my own plumbing work, but God had a different plan. On Tuesday night, I managed to smash my left index finger while trying to haul the old toilet to the garage. Yesterday, I cut my middle finger trying to open a lunch box :S It bleed all night. And then today, I was all set and almost at work, then I got in a wreck.
Yes, like I said. Someone up there really really hates me.

They say “When it rains, it pours”
Sorry to hear about the run of bad luck. I hate it when stuff like that happens. At first its depressing and then all you can do is scream into the night “Why me”? and then life goes on – it will pass and things will go back to normal.
Hope you feel better man.

It’s brave of you to do your own plumbing. I’m too wussy to even try to fix my car, which I guess is much less complicated than plumbing. So, how bad was the wreck?

OMG… Hope you get better soon… As Jay says, things “come in threes,” so hopefully this means that your streak is over… Is your car totaled?

Thanx ya’ll. Pheonix is far from dead. But she might need a new beak (read front bumper). It got cracked. It’s just that it’s the first time for her
48k miles of great wreck free record, and then this.
Btw, quailbot, please tell me you’re kidding. A car is a more complicated thing than a garbage disposal. Besides, it’s always easier to replace than repair.

Sorry to here about all that. Hope it was only the bumper and only a small bump. The bad part of it being the front bumper is that it sounds like your insurance may have to pay for the other car. Do you know yet?
And quialbot, I’d say cars and plumbing can both be equally as difficult depending on the task.

you sure drive a lot, bid. my car is 10 years old and it has 74k. If I remember correctly, you’ve only had your car for 2 years.. that’s more than 20k/yr. A crack in the front bumper doesn’t sound too bad. I had a transmission problem recently and that cost around $2400 to fix. The CV boots and axles have to be replaced too for around $800. That’s half a year of saving down the drain

Please dpn’t rush behind money. It always keeps you unhappy and unsatisfactory. Feeling bad knowing this painful matters.
may Allah bless you
