So I was supposed to go get my visa stuff finalized today, but I got this lovely call from Little America. This sweet lady from there told me that I didn’t even need to bother going there today. She suggested that I go there on the 15th as they originally planned. I explained the sweet lady about that little problem about my flight being on the 13th morning and that I probably need to get everything sorted before that. That’s when she gave me the lovely news.
There is no way they can help me out. If I am lucky and my security part of the process gets done before the 13th, she will be kind enough to let me know. But other than that, nothing. She can’t so crap. Yes, ladies and gents, she can’t help me at all. Why is it taking this long?
Well it usually takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. And that’s why I sent all my paperwork even before I left for the big D. They forgot to mention to me that, it won’t help me much with the security stuff. Why? Becuz, they didn’t start the process until I visited them on the 1st of August. Yup. So I am passport-less, document-less and visa-less.
Suck.
Dear God man! That really blows. I hate this beaurocratic nonsense..it absolutely pisses me off.
Well, there is not much you can do except sit tight and wait for it to come through. You are at home, so take advantage of the situation and do some things that you otherwise would not have had time to do.

Well biddy, your experience is but a mere grain of sand as compared to the mountain that is Keisha at Centenial Place Appartments. Yeah, I know, she doesn’t work there anymore but they managed (god only knows how..) to replace her with someone more inept. Coming Monday, I will be making trip number twenty one since the start of summer to sort my lease out. So whenever you think you’ve got it bad, remember your buddy Sid
Dude. That is just wrong! You were supposed to have it sorted soon after I left. At least Keisha was cute, if I remember her right. Though, she did lose the $200 deposit we gave.
