Pheonix modifications: Part 2

As many of you may or may not know/remember, soon after I got Pheonix I added an iPod connector to the setreo system. This was largly due to the annoyances of switching FM stations for a good reception of the FM transmitter sitting in the car (Monster iCar Play Wireless) and creating mixed CDs that I actually want to listen to all  the time.

Yesterday, while scouring the interwebs in search of other information, I ran into this site, Your Scion tC .com. And it had a few more tricks that you could do for cheap or gratis. So what’s the first thing I did?

Neat, huh?

Driving in Dhaka

After a brief analysis of the situation I have realized some important things about driving in the big D. Firstly as most of you know from the pictures of my last visit, we have lanes that are there for decorations’ sake. Secondly the big difference between in America and here is that in America we drive way ahead of us, where as here people drive with only the next few feet in mind.

What I mean is that when I drive in Atlanta, I’m constantly thinking what will happened when I reach the point 250+ feet ahead. But here that distance is down to a few feet at best. This causes the insane amount of sharp turns and hard breaks. I know people say that I drive bad, but people here are just crazy. I think you can’t drive if you aren’t crazy and pissed off. :P

Car stories

Before I start, let me just mention that yes I still get excited when I see another Scion tC on the road. May be not as excited as I used to get, but I still do. Nowadays the tC have become common place. So much so, that I have started seeing more and more tC’s in the same color as mine.

Though I was stumped when I saw a Midnight Pearl tC at a local Target. Not really because of the color, or the fact that it is yet another tC. It was because of the content of the car it self. You be the judge.
