Pheonix modifications: Part 5

This is the biggest modification I have done to the car to date. Previously, I have told you that I added an iPod connector, then I told you I changed grill, but all of those bows down and kneels infront of mod 5. Thanx to LEDMod.com, I have gotten all the correct parts and got awesome instructions to changing all the stupid amber leds on the dash. This one is just so awesome, that I wouldn’t even bother with the before and after pictures. (Granted I didn’t have any before pictures anyway). Without further ado, I present to you the next dash of Pheonix.

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about this.

Ever since I saw a short antenna on a tC in Davis, CA, I found the OEM antenna ridiculously long. I mean it’s 16″! Seen that I have checked the Scion catalogs casually over the next few years to see if they had any smaller antennas. All in vain.

Finally I have given up the idea of getting something from TRD or Scion and started looking on the internet. Of all the ones that I found this new one met what I wanted for an awesome price

Unlike the OEM, it’s nice small and still gets the job done. Not to mention that thanks to eBay, it also wasn’t that expensive at all. And everyone knows that swapping the antennas were just a piece of cake

Fine. I admit it. I am a Craig’s List junkie. I scour it form time to when I don’t have much to do. So while looking for my next modification I ran into something. Remember I mentioned that nothing was really changing in the new Scions except minor things and from the 2008 model the grill changed? Well turns out someone got a new tC, switched out the grill with an after market one, and so they were getting rid of the OEM for cheap. So I figured why the hell not!

So here’s what Pheonix looked like before
