Cameo drinks on Big Bang Theory

As many of you heard from me, The Big Bang Theory is the absolute best nerd sitcom ever! I have successfully managed to get other people hooked on the show. That said the lastest person to get hooked on it, noticed something interesting. Below you see the typical drinks that our favourite nerds order.

Cameo Drinks

The first thought on seeing this shot is, “Oh! Sheldon drinks Sprite. Lenard likes Diet Coke. Howard always drinks Dr. Pepper and Raj picks 7up”. Unfortunately, you couldn’t be more wrong. Well at least you got the message that was being protrayed, but did you realize that it makes it a mix of Coke and Pepsi products? How can that be you’re thinking? May be they finally are co-sponsoring something. But before jumping to that conclusion, let’s look carefully.

Dr Peeper

That is not Dr. Pepper.

Diet Cola and Orb

That is not Diet Coke. And though Sheldon’s drink looks like a Spirite it has no name on it.

7.on

Finally, I believe that says 7on.

Amazing, no? I actually missed it all the time, but Ruh didn’t. And once we noticed Dr. Peeper, we started paying attention to the others. Interestingly enough when Lenard picks a Vault, the name of the can is covered with a big V.

Early morning TV

So I have been waking up mad early in the morning lately, in an effort to avoid the school traffic. At times, while I’m eating breakfast, I flip through my (free) cable wondering what’s going on. From what I can tell, early morning TVs are made for:

  • insomniacs (or the wanna be-s: energy drink adverts)
  • women’s Soccer fans (on ESPN at least)
  • classic Sci-Fi fans (Twilight Zone)
  • horny heterosexual males (Girls Gone Wild)
  • males with small reproductive organ insecurities
  • people who love to work out (or think about it)

If there are others, I still haven’t found them yet. It’s bizarre. I mean, it’s 5 in the funking mornin!
